These Terms of Service apply when you use The Blue Cats online store, place an order, purchase a product or personalised video, or otherwise interact with our services.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Products and Pre-Orders
Most physical products offered through this store are sold on a pre-order basis.
This means the products may not have been manufactured or received by us at the time your order is placed.
Production will generally begin after the relevant pre-order period has ended.
Estimated production and delivery timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Manufacturing, customs, freight, courier or other circumstances outside our control may cause delays.

Product Images and Specifications
Product images shown on this website may include mock-ups, digital renders or pre-production samples.
The final physical product may vary slightly in areas such as:
- Colour
- Dimensions
- Print size
- Print position
- Material appearance
- Packaging
- Other minor production details
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the final products remain substantially consistent with the products advertised.
Prices
All prices displayed on the store are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.
Where both a usual price and a pre-order price are displayed, the pre-order price applies during the promotional pre-order period.
Prices, promotions and availability may be changed or withdrawn at any time before an order is placed.
If we discover an obvious pricing or listing error after an order has been placed, we may contact you to resolve the issue or cancel and refund the affected item.
Payment
Full payment is generally collected when an order is placed.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers available at checkout.
An order is not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully authorised or received.
Order Acceptance
Receiving an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted an order in all circumstances.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- There is an obvious pricing or listing error
- Payment cannot be verified
- We suspect fraud or unauthorised activity
- We are unable to fulfil the product
- The order or personalisation request contains unlawful, abusive or otherwise inappropriate material
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the affected amount will be refunded.
Personalised Blue Cat Videos
Certain products may include or allow you to add a personalised Blue Cat video.
Two types of personalisation may be offered:
Name-only personalisation:
An existing Blue Cat video format is personalised using the buyer's and/or recipient's name. The concept, script, visuals and overall structure remain substantially unchanged.
Fully personalised:
A new short Blue Cat video is created using information submitted by the buyer.
For fully personalised videos, you may provide information including the recipient's name, relationship to you, interests, habits, personality, inside jokes or other relevant details.
We retain creative control over the final concept, script, humour, visuals, animation and editing so that the finished video remains consistent with The Blue Cats' style.
Personalisation Information
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide for a personalised video is accurate and that you have the right or permission to provide information relating to another person.
Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information or material that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise inappropriate.
We reserve the right to refuse to include any submitted material that we consider unsuitable.
Personalised Video Revisions
Personalised videos include up to 2 rounds of reasonable revisions, unless otherwise stated.
A revision generally means reasonable changes to an existing script or completed video.
Requests that substantially change the original concept, direction or information provided after production has begun may be treated as a new production request and may incur additional charges.
Personalised Video Delivery
Personalised videos are digital products and are delivered separately from physical merchandise.
Where an order includes both physical products and a personalised video, we will generally aim to deliver the personalised video digitally before the physical products arrive.
Production timelines depend on factors including order volume, how quickly you provide the necessary information and how quickly revision feedback is received.
Licence to Share Personalised Videos
Unless otherwise agreed, copyright and intellectual property rights in personalised Blue Cat videos remain with us.
The buyer and intended recipient are granted a non-exclusive licence to:
- Download and retain the completed video
- Share it privately
- Post it on their personal social media accounts
No additional licensing fee is charged for normal personal social-media sharing.
Unless we give written permission, the video may not be:
- Resold
- Sublicensed
- Used in paid advertising
- Used as part of another commercial product or service
- Substantially edited or altered
- Used in a way that falsely suggests an endorsement, partnership or sponsorship
We will not post a personalised video on our own social-media platforms unless separate permission has been obtained.
Intellectual Property
The Blue Cats characters, illustrations, artwork, videos, branding, logos, designs, text and other original materials on this website are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing a physical product does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork, character or intellectual-property rights.
You may use purchased physical products normally for personal purposes, including photographing them and sharing those photographs online.
You may not reproduce the artwork or use it to manufacture or sell unauthorised products.
Delivery
Delivery charges, estimated timelines and international-delivery information are described in our Shipping Policy.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses may be charged to the customer where appropriate.
Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund rights are governed by our Refund Policy.
Because many of our products are made specifically following a pre-order period, cancellation rights may differ depending on whether production has begun.
Personalised digital products may also have different cancellation and refund conditions once production has started.
Use of the Website
You must not use this website:
- For unlawful purposes
- To attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
- To introduce malware or malicious code
- To interfere with the operation or security of the store
- To scrape, copy or reproduce our content for unauthorised commercial purposes
- To commit fraud or misrepresent your identity
We may restrict access to the store where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
Third-Party Services
Our store may rely on third-party providers for services including ecommerce hosting, payments, delivery, analytics and communications.
We are not responsible for interruptions or failures caused solely by third-party services outside our reasonable control.
